মরমের গহনে এলে
মোর আমি-কে কেড়ে নিয়ে গেলে
ছিলুম ঘুমঘোরে অচেতন
সুযোগ বুঝে' নিয়ে নিলে
এমনটি দেখিনি কখনো
এমনটি ভাবিনি স্বপ্নেও
এমনও হতে পারে চিতচোর
জীবনে আজ দেখিয়ে দিলে
আমিও জানি প্রিয় প্রতিকার
আমিও করিব এর বিচার

Translation
At the depths of heart You arrived;
You left, having snatched my sense of I.
Fast asleep, I had been unconscious;
You took away, chance having realized.
Never did I see such a thing;
I did not imagine, even in dream.
A mind-thief, it can be even so:
This day You demonstrated in life.
Darling, retribution, even I know;
Its consideration I will give also.
